Project Connect at Our Place on October 14th
Winter hats, scarves, gloves and toiletries are needed!
Project Connect is a one-day service and info fair held at Our Place on October 14th for people living homeless and in poverty.
The day features a wide range of free services including haircuts, CareCard and Canadian birth certificate replacements, pet care, resumes, tax returns, medical attention, a barbecue lunch and much more.
Each person who attends Project Connect will receive a gift bag of essential items for the coming winter months. We rely on community donations to fill these bags.
Project Connect still needs warm gloves, hats, scarves, granola bars and deodorants.
Donations can be dropped off at Our Place, 919 Pandora Avenue on Wednesday, October 5th between noon and 4pm.
Donations are also accepted at Victoria City Hall between 8am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, until October 4th, or by calling the Greater Victoria Coalition to End Homelessness at 250.370.1512.
